The Center for Teaching and Learning was founded in July 2006 with the vision that it be the nucleus of a university culture that values teaching and
learning. The Center serves all
instructors who care about the learning environment they create for students. It fosters dialogue, scholarship, innovation, and excellence in
learner-centered teaching. The Center promotes superior teaching and scholarship that mutually enhance one another for the benefit of students, faculty, and
the community.
Academic Technologies and the Service-Learning Program are divisions of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Academic Technologies provides educational and
communications technology and services in support of teaching, learning, and communicating. The Boise State University Service-Learning Program fosters
citizenship and enhances learning through active involvement in academically-based community service.
