There is great value in convening with others in your discipline to explore and discuss teaching and learning issues unique to your discipline. Likewise, there is
much to be gained in taking time to explore teaching and learning with a multi-disciplinary group of instructors. Each year, the CTL assists Boise State instructors
with travel to workshops and conferences.
- CTL funds are available to fund faculty and instructor travel to teaching-related conferences or workshops (general or discipline-specific).
- Funds are dispensed on a first-come, first-served basis with approximately half of the funds allocated for fall and half for spring/summer travel requests.
- Funds dispersed through this application process are limited to a total of $1000 per faculty member per year.
Applicants are encouraged to seek partial support from departmental or college sources.
- Requests must be made at least one month prior to travel.

Request Form.
- After travel has been completed, travel fund recipients are required to submit a CTL Travel Fund Report form.
