A variety of people have been involved in helping to launch this initiative.  The staff of the Center for Teaching and Learning, Donna Llewellyn (Executive Director, Institute for STEM and Diversity Initiatives), and Arturo Rodriguez (Program Director – Bilingual/ENL/TESOL & Professor, Department of Literacy, Language & Culture) played an instrumental role in securing the funding from HHMI.
