Welcome to Boise State University!
This August, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will be offering a New Adjunct Orientation for Adjuncts that start teaching in the fall semester. Below please find information about these events.
Our fall orientation events are as follows:
New Adjunct Faculty Orientation – Tuesday, 8/15/2017, 6:00PM – 9:00PM in Bishop Barnwell Room (Student Union Building)
- Meet and Greet/Hors d’oeuvres
- Welcome and Introduction to Boise State students
- Teaching Support Workshops
This event is designed to introduce you to the culture and students of Boise State, and provide you with teaching tools you can use in your class the first day and throughout the semester. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres and beverages and an opportunity for casual conversation and networking with your colleagues. We hope that you will feel warmly welcomed, get to know your university better, and come away with new friends and useful teaching resources at Boise State.
Faculty Resource Fair – Tuesday, 8/15/2017, 3:00-4:30 in the Student Union Building
Over 30 campus departments attend this event to meet and show faculty the available resources, services, and programs at Boise State. Attend for 10 minutes, or for 45. It doesn’t matter, we guarantee that you’ll find an indispensable resource!
